High-Visibility LED Display with 24-Hour Clock/Timer: Have coffee ready when you wake up every morning with the Cuisinart Grind & Brew's convenient Auto-On feature. Use the program and time buttons to program a time into the 24-hour digital clock/timer. Between the Hour and Minute Set buttons, a small LCD screen displays the current time (or Auto On time) with an AM/PM indicator, along with the current Strength-Control setting. An audible tone will sound when your coffee has completed the brewing cycle. Use the Auto-Off feature to automatically power the machine down at a preset time, anywhere from zero to four hours after brewing is done.
Six-Button/One-Dial Control Panel: Six useful buttons allow you to set time, 12/24-hour display, grind volume, grinder power, and brew strength. The grind-control dial can be adjusted to one of six volume settings, from two (grinds enough for two cups of coffee) to 12 (grinds enough for 12 cups of coffee). Use the Grind-Off button when using pre-ground coffee. To adjust brew strength, simply press the Strength Control button until your preferred strength (Mild, Medium, or Strong) is displayed on the LCD screen.

Integrated Burr Grinder: The Cuisinart Brew & Grind is equipped with a state-of-the-art integrated burr grinder that grinds whole beans just before brewing. Burr grinders allow a finer, more uniform grind than blade grinders. Their slow oscillation imparts minimal heat, preserving whole beans' rich natural flavor and aroma. To brew using pre-ground coffee, simply place the desired amount of grounds (up to 16 level scoops) in the included size-four GoldTone filter and press the Grind-Off button to deactivate the burr grinder. Press On to start the brewing cycle.
If you need to sneak a cup of coffee mid-brew, simply remove the carafe - the Brew Pause function will pause the flow of coffee for up to 20 seconds, so you don't have to wait or worry about drips and spills. Complete with a scratch-resistant, non-stick heating plate, the brushed chrome housing is accented with a matte-black brewing area, six-button/one-dial control panel, and an LCD clock/timer. A charcoal filter is included to remove chlorine and other impurities from tap water, leaving only the cleanest water for the best possible taste.
