High-Pressure Brewing: Unlike conventional espresso makers, there are no complications with tamping, hot filter holders, or cleaning and rinsing sieves. The Capresso Ultima tamps and brews automatically, all the time. Place between seven and 15 grams of ground espresso coffee in the machine, then turn and close the lever. Coffee grounds are evenly moistened and conditioned through a two-step pre-infusion cycle, then brewed with a high-pressure 18-bar power pump for maximum flavor extraction. When you turn on the pump, the brewing chamber automatically seals itself so that all the water is forced through the coffee, resulting in a rich, thick layer of crema, which traps the coffee's lightest flavors and most subtle aromatics. Brew more than 30 espressos at a time with the large-capacity 53-ounce removable water container. The double coffee spouts adjust to fit almost any size cup.
Dual Frother Plus System: Froth and steam milk using the built-in Dual Frother Plus, which has two settings: Latte (for steamed milk) and Cappuccino (for steamed and frothed milk). Simply immerse the Dual Frother Plus wand into your milk pitcher and push the steam button - your milk is ready in seconds. Push the steam button again to stop. The Dual Frother Plus also provides instant hot water release for tea, soups, hot chocolate, or Cafe Americano. Water is quickly heated with the Ultima's unique 18-bar ThermoCoil heating system.
No Mess, No Fuss: When it comes to cleanup, you won't have to worry about making a mess. Used coffee is automatically removed and stored in the Ultima's convenient internal container, allowing you to make successive espressos without leaving your counter in disarray. An indicator light illuminates to let you know when it's time to empty the used coffee container.
