Its many features include toggle switches with indicator lights, precise temperature gauge indicating brewing and frothing temperature, a sturdy pull down lever for providing commercial quality steaming/frothing, removable tank with water level visible, a .7-liter heavy-duty aluminum boiler, and pull out knock box and cup warmer. This ESE machine is adaptable for use with ground coffee or coffee servings (pods).

About Espressione PodsThis ESE machine is compatible with Espressione pods. A pod is a proper dose of correctly ground coffee, pre-weighed and pressed between two layers of filtering paper. Espressione Pods give the best possible results with Espressione ESE machines. Many brands of espresso machines like the Starbucks barista machine, Gaggia, Saeco, and many others can take the Espressione pods. The machines that cannot take the ESE pods are the Senseo, Melitta, and any other machine that is a low pressure or soft pod machine. Any of the Briel or Espressione machines can take any brand of ESE pods.
